About Me.
Languages have always fascinated me, not only as a means of learning useful phrases, but as a window into other ways of living in, seeing, and conceptualizing the world. To me, translation and localization are not only real, practical needs, but means of sharing varied understandings of the world with others, and creating a personal connection to our common humanity.
It’s what compelled me to pursue an M.A. in Translation, and was reinforced by my 10 years in the translation industry, in which I've worked as a project manager, vendor manager, and freelance translator.

I'm an Associate member of the American Translators Association (ATA), as well as a member of the Northeast Ohio Translators Association (NOTA). I am also a volunteer translator with Translators Without Borders and TED Talks.

I recently completed a Certificate in Localization from the University of Washington, and am currently taking courses in coding and subtitling.
